Supervisor Croci, Councilman Flotteron Join Seniors in a Walk for Health Awareness
Islip, NY – Islip Town Supervisor Tom Croci and Councilman Steve Flotteron recently joined a group of Islip senior citizens on a walk to promote health awareness among seniors in our community.
Dozens of seniors participated in the walk, which took place at the South Shore Mall in Bay Shore. This walk is one of many that will occur this year in a variety of locations throughout the Town.
“Councilman Flotteron and I were impressed with the energy and enthusiasm of our seniors who joined this walk,” said Supervisor Croci. “It’s important that we all stay mindful of our health, and do what we can to stay active throughout our lives.”
“These seniors have set a tremendous example to their community, and I hope that other residents will join them in staying healthy and active,” said Councilman Flotteron.
